F/T: Fiber Transformed is a group of contemporary fiber artists from Virginia who meet monthly for critiques and mutual support. Founded in August, 1995 as First Tuesdays, the group currently has six members who work together exploring thematic, creative, and technical issues in collaborative and individual work with textiles.  F/T members represent a broad range of contemporary textile art, with both commercial and hand dyed/painted fabric, and various forms of surface design and embellishment.

Members of F/T: Fiber Transformed participate both as a group and individually in local, national, and international venues, and also work independently on commissioned pieces.
